Let's Celebrate All We've Done Together

Why? Because we’ve cared for our planet and together we’ve made a difference.

HAPPY FACT

It’s better when we’re together

We should all be proud. We’ve given a damn, we’ve made the effort, we got involved, we looked after our patch of earth, we’ve each had impact, no matter how small. Thank you for being on the journey!

Here’s a refresher of all we’ve done so far. Quite a lot, right?! Have a scan for your favourites, your Achilles heels, the one’s that you’ve got down pat, and the ones you haven’t got to yet. Let us know!

And for those of you who’ve just joined in, have a flick through to see if there’s any you’d like to do or have missed in your own personal repertoire.  They all really count, but in terms of immediate impact the biggest hitters are: Meatless Mondays, Taking A Walk on the Earth’s Side and Writing to your MP.

So did you save money?

We did. That’s been the surprise bonus. Most of this costs less. Who knew.

We…

Aimee: So Meatless Mondays was a big shift for me, I’ve gone from being a major carnivore to being firmly in the ‘flexitarian’ camp – I eat meat about once or twice a month now and am gradually reducing my consumption of animal products – better for me, for the planet and my pocket! The one I skipped was writing to my MP – given the UK political shenanigans I’ve been holding that for the new government so, today, I’ll be writing to my newly elected MP.

Sonia: One of the things about doing this project is that Aimee and I have to walk the talk! Before we send out our weekly action, we both have to have done it. That’s the rule. Given that none of us are perfect (thank goodness!) the shorter showers are my absolute nemesis, gah! I love, love, love my showers so I’ve sneaked a few long ones in. BUT smashed the tideline of rubbish, down to the size of a dog poo (sorry!) bag. Yes. Pretty good work, ma’am.

Today, no matter what it takes,
we ride home together.
